Mesofat
This is to inject on the excess fat to facilitate fat removal. From age 20 and onwards, having excess fat becomes a prominent beauty problem because this is when fats start to accumulate in unwanted spots such as cheek, chin, upper arms, thighs, abdomen, waist, and hips. It makes us feel unconfident to show our body in front of others.
The main cause of excess fat
The main source of excess fats is from eating too much- especially food that are high in calories such as flour, sugar, fat, etc., without doing any fat burning activities such as yoga and aerobic exercises. As time passes, these excess fats will build up more and more, and the fat cells grow larger and more bloated, causing our shape to expand. Therefore, medical aesthetics have the duty to solve this growing problem of patients.
Mesofat is a way to get rid of excess fats by injecting medicine(via injection syringe) that has properties to break down the accumulated fat layer using multiple components such as Phosphatidylcholine, Deoxycholate, L-carnitine, Vitamin B complex, Amino acids, Minerals, etc. Depending on the area, 0.2 to 0.5cc of medicine will be used every 1 to 2sq.cm and it will be injected deep into the fat layer from 0.1mm to 12mm with Meotherapy.
Three to four years ago, this drug rarely gained popularity because the previously used drug has slow effects, presents a lot of side effects, considerably painful, and causes bruising after injection.
Carboxytherapy was then developed to break down fats; which, although more painful, it is more effective and does not cause much bruising. Recently, they have developed a drug for fat reduction that is more effective, efficient, convenient, modern, and has less side effect and post-injection bruising. It requires lesser in-between session time which is around 2 weeks. Carboxytherapy may be a latter option as it is more painful, takes a longer treatment duration, and it has to be done more often(1-2 times a week) for a good result. Mesofat promotes fat reduction by breaking apart the fat cell wall, melting into liquid for faster excretion through urine(mostly) and feces.
The most popular area where Mesofat is used is on the cheeks for slender facial features. This treatment is usually coupled with Botox. Other common areas are chin, arms, thighs, hips, belly, breast(Gynecomastia), and calves(usually with Botox).

What to expect after Mesofat?
– Patients should drink at least 2 liters of water per day to facilitate melted fat clearance through urine.
– During the course of Mesofat treatment, it is recommended to combine it with RF therapy to help shake off the excess fats from the body faster. It also keeps the muscles more toned; thus, preventing the skin from sagging. The doctor might also recommend combining it with another slimming equipment such as Cryolipolysis, X wave, or RF for faster results.
– Patients may experience some swelling, bruising, or slight pain during and until 1-3 days after the injection, so it is advised to avoid sauna, massage, alcohol ingestion, or any other treatment for about 1 week after the injection to reduce bruising.
– Patients should do light exercises after receiving Mesofat, such as brisk walking, yoga, or aerobics at least 30-45 minutes a day for 2-3 times a week to keep the muscles tight, remove the fats out of the body faster, and to prevent new fat buildup.
– Change eating habits to control weight and to avoid gaining excess fats again. Mesofat injection will be in vain if no adjustments are made to manage your eating habits. Discipline in weight control is essential.
We find that in some patients, after Mesofat injection usually on the chin, arm, and stomach areas, the excess fats are almost gone; however, due to fat loss, skin sagging occurs. RF+ Mesofirming injection will help the prevent sagging once the fats are gone.
