1.1 Treating Acne Scars with Fractional CO2

How does Fractional CO2 work?
Fractional CO2 shoots small spots of laser and emits light waves of around 10,600 nm into the skin. Thousands of spots are delivered with a precision scanner system, and these light waves are transformed into energy as the touch the skin. Old cells are transformed into dead cells where the light waves touch, and these will naturally be shredded off by the body within 1-2 weeks after the treatment, giving way for new cells to grow and replace about 10-20% of the old skin on the treated area. Even without receiving treatment for 3-6 months, the result will continue to improve as collagen remodeling continues.
Treatment procedure
The face will be readied for the procedure by cleansing the whole area and applying topical anesthesia and leaving it on for about 45-60 minutes to minimize the pain during the treatment. When the area is ready, the doctor will set the energy and spot size and start directing the laser handpiece towards the skin and move it along the areas that need to be treated until the treatment is completed. This will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on the severity of the skin condition.
What to expect after the treatment
When the treatment is done, there might be some redness and burning sensation on the treated areas. A cream will be applied to reduce the redness. Take extra care on the treated areas by putting on moisturizer and sunscreen with SPF greater than 30, and and avoiding too much sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks. 3-4 days after the treatment, you will notice the area to feel rough, grainy, or flaky which is a normal part of the process. Just let the dead skin shred off on its own within 5-7 weeks and avoid scratching or manually peeling the area as this may cause more scarring.
1.2 Scarlet

What is Scarlet?
Scarlet is a technology that uses radio frequency to pass through small needles (microneedles). These needles are adjustable according to the depth of the area to be treated, which can reach deep down to the dermis and fat layer. In general, releasing RF energy into the skin causes minute bleeding in the skin which turns into small black spots after the treatment. However, with Scarlet, the needles will hold their release and pull back the needle precisely. This prevents bleeding when releasing RF energy in encouraging deep skin collagen formation.
Who are suitable for this treatment?
1. People with acne problems, especially those with redness from acne
2. People with facial skin sagging, can be done for young and elderly patients
Expected result from the treatment?
Scarlet has a Pause Duration setting to allow rhythmic release of energy and pull back of needles within the specified time to achieve the desired result. The procedure is painless and there are no serious side effects. Mostly, it does not cause any redness or swelling, but it may be present for some patients. Immediately after the treatment, the skin will feel instantly firm, and the result gets better after 3 months of treatment. The treatment can be done 1 month apart.
Contraindication
Because Scarlet utilizes radio frequency, it may affect patients with pacemaker and patients with extreme facial skin rash.
Advice after treatment
Take care of your skin as usual, but avoid sunlight and chemicals that might cause irritation. Patients can wear make up immediately after the treatment.
What to expect after the treatment
The skin’s texture will feel like sandpaper after the treatment. After the treatment, the doctor will provide another treatment to help stimulate new collagen regeneration, and the result can be seen faster with older patients.
1.3 Derma point
This is another type of Fractional laser therapy (Fraxel, CO2) that is suitable for people with acne scars, uneven and rough skin, and large pores. Derma Point has a 1 cm diameter tip with 9 small needles of different lengths, 0.7mm and 1.5mm, that punctures through the skin area that needs treatment. Due to its small size, it can be used even in narrow points like the nose groove. Prior the procedure, a topical anesthesia will be applied and left on for 30 minutes to minimize the pain. The needles are changed every after use ensuring patient safety. During the treatment, if a patient experiences severe pain when the needles penetrate the skin, the doctor will adjust the depth of the needles used. After the treatment, there might be some swelling, redness, scabs, black marks, or bruising. Receiving continuous treatment will result to shallower acne holes and finer scars until they eventually disappear as the skin creates new collagen and elastin. The number of sessions would depend on the individual’s skin condition.
1.4 AHA
AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid is an organic compound extracted from fruits such apples and cucumbers, which was developed to be used in medical aesthetics for its properties of skin brightening and radiance. Natchanok Clinic uses AHA as part of a treatment regimen to instantly nourish the skin. AHA treatment facilitates the removal of dead skin cells, dust, and dirt that sits on the face making it look dull and uneven. At the same time, it stimulates the growth of new and healthier skin cells for a smoother, clearer, and more radiant face.
1.5 Vitamin U Mask
Vitamin U Mask is one of the best facial treatments of Natchanok Clinic. This mask has unique properties essential for skin brightening. It is suitable for people with dull skin, who are often exposed to intense sunlight, and who have skin superficial skin blemishes. This is a special mask added after a procedure is finished. Vitamin U mask also absorbs dirt that has accumulated for a long time which might have been causing acne problems. It promotes good blood circulation in the face for better skin moisture.
1.6 Diamond peel
Is the technology of diamond skin rejuvenation with an innovation called Microdermabrasion. It exfoliates the skin by grazing the diamond tip into skin that loosens the dirt and dead skin cells, shredding off the top layer of the skin to reveal the newer and healthier skin underneath, and stimulating new collagen production. Diamond peel is suitable for those who want to have a smooth and supple skin. It also helps in the treatment of superficial acne scars. The treatment is safe and does not cause wounds and bleeding because it follows the pattern and facilitates exfoliation which is a normal skin process. Older skin shreds off every 5-6 weeks and renews every 3-4 weeks, so Microdermabrasion does not really thin out the skin. During the treatment, it may feel a little abrasive, like having sands rubbed on the skin, but it does not cause pain. For those who have sensitive skin or who are always exposed to sunlight, the doctor will assess your skin condition and evaluate if the treatment is still suitable for you, or if you need another treatment that suits your problem better. After the treatment, the skin might appear pinkish to reddish, but this usually return to normal 1-2 hours after the treatment. There might also be some skin peeling within 3-5 days after the Diamond Peel. With continuous treatment, you will see a significant improvement on your black marks, blemish marks(early stage), skin dullness, blemishes, and acne scars. You should avoid long and frequent sun exposure for 1 week after the treatment.

*After the treatment, there will be some discoloration on the treated area which returns to normal 2-3 hours after the treatment. Results can be immediately seen after the first treatment. For best optimum result, it is recommended to have 6-8 treatment sessions with 2 weeks interval.
1.7 Needle-Free Mesotherapy
Natchanok Clinic offers “Needle-Free Mesotherapy” or no-needle mesotherapy, a technique that uses short wavelengths of electromagnetic waves to open up the cell membrane and provide better flow of nutrients into the cells (Electropermeabilization), or in medical term Electroporation.
